Proof that this is a real thing with real people having a real good time.
Inspiring Girls in STEM started as a tradition of the former FTC robotics team Soup. Utah SWENext students carry it on, and it's run entirely by students.
The 3rd annual event (Nov 8, 2025) filled a lecture hall at the University of Utah's Crocker Science Center with six speakers and speed mentors: a neuroscientist, a physicist, a mechanical engineer, a pediatric doctor, an Air National Guard lieutenant and a filmmaker.
For the 4th annual in 2026 we're moving to Beehive Science & Technology Academy in Sandy with five new speakers, and we're expecting around 100–120 girls. One of them should be you.
Get here
